In December of 2009 Curt Cavins, Brother at O'Brothers Irish Pub, started reviewing costs at the pub. Merchant card services seemed very high as a percentage of sales. Brother Drew advised that merchant card services were a cost of business and there's not much we can do about it. As a restauranteur of over 20 years, the discussion was almost over.
Curt decided to ask their provider to review the statement and rates. It seems as though the provider could now offer a reduced rate because we were asking... The story doesn't stop there, as Curt decided to take the call of another provider (of which several called when we opened).
