Yes, they are confusing - the statements that come from your credit card processor are meant to confuse you, to make you uncomfortable about asking questions.  The truth is, PowerPay has a department in our corporate office in Maine that only analyze credit card statements!  From each type of card presented and processed there is an associated cost to Visa/MasterCard/Discover and American Express.  Each processor pays the same to the card companies based on the risk and type of card.  PCI Comlience is another item for review.  We will look at that as well, and can even offer a service that keeps you complient instead of charging your for being out of complience.
